Rose Renée

Hi, I’m Rose – a professional dancer and self taught costumier from London, UK. Over a 20-year international career, I’ve performed across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, the USA and Europe, including appearing at 14 international burlesque festivals. 

In 2025, I was a finalist at The New York Burlesque festival - Golden Pastie Awards. In 2024, I won first place at Heart of Ireland Burlesque Festival, and returning as a guest performer in 2025 to crown the next winner - a true pinch-me moment. 

Alongside performing, I’ve always had a deep love for millinery and vintage fashion, inspired by the golden age of Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Josephine Baker and Ginger Rogers. From the moment I watched Ann Miller pirouette across the screen in Shaking the Blues Away, I was hooked!

I trained from the age of 10 in ballet, tap, jazz and MT, later studying performing arts before gaining a BA (Hons) in Dance & Theatre. During my studies I developed a love for costume design and millinery through theatrical costume modules, which I later continued to explore as a self-taught seamstress

Entrepreneurship has always been part of my journey – from an early vintage shop to running a dance academy..

In 2026, I rebranded everything together under one name.

Welcome to The Renéessance. A place where performance, passion and vintage flair meet. Every piece is handmade by me in my home studio – designed for rehearsal, stage and curtain call.
