Rose Renée

Hi, I’m Rose – a professional dancer and costumier from London, UK. Over a 20-year international career, I’ve performed across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, the USA and Europe, including appearing at 14 international burlesque festivals. In 2024, I won first place at HOIBF, and returning as a guest performer in 2025 to crown the next winner was a true pinch-me moment.

Alongside performing, I’ve always had a deep love for millinery and vintage fashion, inspired by the golden age of Judy Garland, Fred Astaire, Josephine Baker and Ginger Rogers. From the moment I watched Ann Miller pirouette across the screen in Shaking the Blues Away, I was hooked!

I trained from the age of 10 in ballet, tap, jazz and MT, later studying fashion design, millinery and performing arts before gaining a BA (Hons) in Dance & Theatre and my teaching qualifications. 

Entrepreneurship has always been part of my journey – from an early vintage shop to running a dance academy and later my accessories business, Sew Iconic.

In 2025, I rebranded everything together under one name.

Welcome to The Renéessance. A place where performance, passion and vintage flair meet. Every piece is handmade by me in my studio – designed for rehearsal, stage and curtain call.
